Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Design, Management and Technology (IJDMT) publishes original, peer-reviewed research that examines design as a system operating across practice, organisations, technology, education, policy, and intellectual property.

Submissions must demonstrate:

  • A clearly articulated research problem or question

  • Engagement with relevant scholarly literature

  • Appropriate research methodology or analytical framework

  • Systems-oriented analysis rather than purely descriptive discussion

  • Clear theoretical, practical, or policy implications

Types of submissions accepted include original research articles, conceptual or framework-based studies, and case-based analyses. Instructional articles, opinion pieces, and professional showcases without research grounding are not considered.

Manuscripts should be prepared in clear academic English and formatted according to standard scholarly conventions. Citations and references should follow a recognised style consistently (APA recommended).

All submissions must be original, not under review elsewhere, and must comply with ethical research and publication standards.
